Heidi
Heidi was born with Heterotaxy Syndrome. Right Atrial Isomerism. Her heart is on the opposite side of her chest and flipped backwards. So her left ventricles on the right and right ventricle on the left. She also was born without a pulmonary valve.
At 6 days old she had a BT shunt placed so she could get blood flow to her lungs. And then at 4 months old she had the bidirectional Glenn and an artery built for her to supply her lungs. It’s been a year since her Glenn surgery! She is as wild as she is strong. The embodiment of a warrior.
