WHY WE FUND
Research Saves Lives.
Research can seem like such an elusive process with far-off results we may never understand. Our interest in research comes from knowing that there could have been more options for Brett.
We know that research for CHD is severely underfunded as compared to other childhood illnesses. It will take all of us working together to continue spreading awareness and to making progress year after year for better outcomes.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES
What Drives Our Funding.
It is our mission to find the most promising research projects; ones that have the possibility to come to fruition and be at the bedside in a relatively reasonable timeframe. Research projects we have seen and know to be important fall into many categories, including:
⬢ Pre and postnatal diagnosis
⬢ More treatment options
⬢ Less medication
⬢ Reducing other potential risks
⬢ Fewer procedures
⬢ Fewer surgeries
⬢ Less hospitalization
⬢ Better monitoring
⬢ More mental health support
Funded Projects.
The Brett Boyer Foundation is thrilled to highlight the research projects, past and present, we are funding. Because of your support, we have funded more than 25 research projects in 19 institutions since 2021. Through these projects, advancements are being made in treatment for congenital heart disease.
